Transport properties of spin crossover nanoparticles
There is an opening for an 18 months postdoc position for experimental investigations of electrical properties of spin crossover nanoparticles. The candidate should fabricate hybrid planar devices that include spin crossover nanoparticles, which exhibit a reversible transition between a dia and paramagnetic phases under external stimuli (temperature, light, electric field). These particles are incorporated in planar sub-micron devices. The goal is to investigate how transistor devices are modified under the phase transition. Time-resolved optoelectronic investigations under variable temperature will provide insight into dynamics within the largest possible bandwidth. The aim is to take advantage of specifically designed materials and devices to minimize the resistance switching time.
The candidate should have skills in (nano) electronic devices fabrication and studies, cryogenics, background in physical chemistry also appreciated.
