Matteo Mauro has been appointed to the Early Career Advisory Board of the journal ChemPhotoChem (Wiley).
ChemPhotoChem was founded four years ago, with their first issue published in January 2017. Since then, the journal has established itself as one of the leading photochemistry journals worldwide.
In order to give emerging young scientists a stronger voice, ChemPhotoChem has recently created an Early Career Advisory Board. The editors of the journal have nominated eight young scientists worldwide joining the new board, among which is Matteo Mauro. He has also been selected as one of the “Young Chemists” in 2020 by the flagship journal Chemistry – A European Journal.
Matteo ‘s research focus on photo- and electro-luminescent molecular materials based on both inorganic and organic compounds, including phosphorescent and thermally-activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) systems for organic electronics. He is also interested in self-healing supramolecular materials for soft actuators driven by light.
